Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Civil Superintendent to join our clients team in Vancouver. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supervising civil infrastructure projects such as roadworks, bridges, utilities, and public works. The Civil Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities related to civil infrastructure projects.
• Direct field staff and operational activities on the construction site.
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Enforce compliance with safety protocols and quality standards on the construction site.
• Manage and resolve any onsite conflicts or issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of construction progress, resources, and other project details.
• Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor project progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Superintendent or similar role in civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in relevant construction management software.
• Relevant certifications or education in civil engineering, construction management, or related fields are preferred.
