Position: Project Manager – Civil Infrastructure

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a range of civil infrastructure projects in the Vancouver area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, and public works. This role requires a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, project management, and a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of civil infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Oversee project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
  • Manage budgets, project resources, and schedules.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Resolve project challenges and issues effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and other key partners.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the civil infrastructure sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and infrastructure development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Professional Engineering (P.Eng) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset.
