Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Superintendent for our clients construction projects in the Lower Mainland area. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing and constructing multi-family wood-frame buildings. As a Site Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the construction process for wood-frame buildings.
• Coordinate and manage daily on-site construction activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Enforce rigorous safety protocols and quality control measures on site.
• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
• Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to maintain clear and constant communication.
• Maintain strict adherence to building codes and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and maintain construction documents and reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent, with specific expertise in wood-frame construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, tools, equipment, and materials related to wood-frame building.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
• Familiarity with local building codes, construction legislation, and OHS regulations.
• Relevant certifications or education in construction management, engineering, or a related field is an asset.
